Well, do you have the skills for making games, or the knowledge? You can't simply make a game from the comfort of your home, you will need a server to create your game on, and those can cost maybe little, if it us a small game, or a lot, if it is a big game.
Small games are games such as Astroids or those little ones. Big games are like those of Runescape and possibly a high graphiced bike game.
So, if you have those and have the skills, you can make a game.
